My client is a professional writer who has an ongoing web presence through her blog and social media ventures. She is on her way to publishing her novel and needed a logo for herself and a brand new web site where all her writing activities and events can be managed in one place.

I used this great free Wordpress theme called Interstellar as the starting point. From there, I incorporated her love of color with crisp, modern and dynamic imagery into a digital aesthetic that would exhibit her brand as a writer and be welcoming to her fan base, both regular as well as newcomers.
