I was hired by a woman who specializes in helping others learn and fulfill their writing potential
for various personal and professional projects. She needed a site she could update and provide resources for her clients, as well as reflect her bohemian and earthy personality.

I came up with this site design using a free existing theme called Adapt. It’s site responsive, meaning it’s programmed to re-size itself from desktop to tablet to mobile screen sizes.

From there, I designed the site to resemble a lined piece of paper on a wood-carved desk. It conveys a personal approach from business owner to site user and communicates the business’s main occupation. The logo is the aesthetic foundation. with its colors utilized throughout the site, and the image “carved” into the wood is inspired by a Mayan print but made with punctuation marks.

This gallery contains the rest of the mockups for this site in desktop, tablet, and mobile style.
