In the ongoing Painting on Paper series, I made 2 pieces based on a live modal using acrylic paint for the first picture and mixed media for the second one. I like them both equally; the first one had some great movement to it since I was using the palette knife, and the second one forced me to get creative with the pieces of paper at my disposal. Looking back on this, I feel like I find my inner creative strength when there are certain boundaries to work with.
